Basics of Zen Buddhist meditation – a six week course

Meditation is about learning techniques to calm the mind, and to steady it, and then gain insight into its workings. Correctly understood and correctly practised, the benefits of meditation are incalculable.

Although this course is aimed at beginners, all are welcome. Classes are kept small so that everyone can be properly looked after. Each session lasts an hour and a half.

There is instruction in the principles of Buddhism, and the theory and techniques of various types of meditation, focussing on Zen meditation, which is the most important. We keep everything very simple and straightforward, so you can judge for yourself the merits of what you are being taught.

£12 per lesson, one session per week [concessions available].

We have classes during the day, 10am-11.30am, and evening 6pm-7.30pm. Please let us know which time suits you, so that we can offer you the next available place.
Classes are held in Southfields, London SW18, or nearby.

Individual and small group tuition available on request.
